STEM students have opportunity to study in Arizona

In the June of 2018 St. Patrick students have the chance to go on a 6 day tour to Patagonia Mountains of Arizona. They have the opportunity to take part in an educational travel program.

The students will be living off grid and learning about energy.

Mrs. Ferentz has visited Arizona before as part of her masters program. She spent the time learning about endangered species.

Dillon McCormack,19’ said, “This seems like a really awesome opportunity for students to travel across the states and also Arizona seems like a really nice place.”

Ms. Ferentz is organizing this trip so that students can engage in meeting new people, designing their own questions about the environment,touring Arizona, and a nice chance to get College Credits.
