The Blackhawks are off to a great start. Their record is 4-1-1, which gives them the second best record in the league and at the top of the Central Division.

Brandon Saad has been an outstanding re-addition to the Blackhawks. He has six goals, including four game winners, and two assists, in the first six games of the season.

Corey Crawford has been a brick wall in the net. His save average is (.960) and his goals allowed average is (1.39).

Every team needs something to work on and for the Blackhawks that is their power play. They have a 14.8% play effeciency on the power play. That ranks 21st in the NHL

The Blackhawks also have a problem with depth in their lineup. Their first and second lines are solid but after that they fall apart. On the third and fourth lines their is poor chemistry. Those two lines are filled with rookies and new members to the team.

Joe Quinvelle, head coach for the Blackhawks said, “we are going to start the season with players who are familiar with each other, and after the season picks up we will make changes.”

The Blackhawks will play their next game tonight against the Edmington Oilers and will play again Saturday against the Arizona Coyotes.
