The 2018 blood drive was another great success, according to Ms. McMahon, event coordinator.

This year students and faculty donated 100 pints of blood, just shy of the 115 pints of blood last semester.

Ms. McMahon has been working the blood drive for the past four years.

Ms. McMahon said, “The increase of students who have donated within the past four years has greatly increased.”

Each pint of blood that is donated saves three lives, meaning donors were able to save 300 lives.

Ms. McMahon said, “Students should get involved with the blood drive because it makes you feel good about yourself knowing you are saving lives.”
