Shamrocks ace the competition

The shamrock volleyball team is off to a amazing start with a stunning 13-2 record. The team, led by captain Brett Rosenbusch, ‘18, and co captain Franky Mott, ‘18, are currently one of the top teams in state.

Coach Joel Anderson said “these boys are amazing they are so committed and I honestly believe we have a great chance to make state.” Anderson also stated that the team is one of the greatest volleyball teams Saint Patrick has had ever.

The Shamrocks have been preparing for this season all year. Five members of the team played club for Chicago Elite which helped them improve their passing, setting and hitting. Players Sean McGing, ‘18, Liam White, ‘17, Joshua Reider, ’18,  Rosenbusch and Mott all played for Elite.

Rosenbusch currently has one of the best serving and hitting percentage in state with Mott right behind him.

The team is really coming together and are making there mark on Saint Patrick high school. With the way they are going it will be no surprise to anyone if they make it to State
