Shamrock baseball off to amazing 11-3 start

The shamrock baseball team is off to a great 11-3 start. The team has not lost by more than 5 runs so far in a varsity game.

Team captain Tommy Busam ’18, was asked what his thoughts were heading into conference play. He said, “We are confident with all of our young talent and senior leadership.” Busam is hitting a .429 batting average, and leading team with 15 runs batted in.

Sophomore Nicholai Bermeo ’20 had something to say about his great experience playing for the varsity squad. He said, “My experience has been phenomenal. There are plenty of seniors who are willing to teach me and guide me to being a successful baseball player.”

Bermeo has been a standout as a sophomore, and has potential to do very well throughout the rest of the season.
