Last Saturday, the Shamrock Cross Country team ran the ESCC Conference Championship Meet. All seven runners impressed and set personal bests while all contributing to a 5th place team finish.

Liam MacLellan ‘23 led the way, running a 16:59 which was good enough for 14th place. Juan Celio ‘21 came in shortly after at 17:06, placing 18th. Captains Aidan Lewis ‘21 and Josh Esquilin ‘21 weren’t far behind, finishing in 27th and 31st place with times of 17:22 and 17:29 respectively. Remy Stafford ‘21 was the 5th Shamrock in with a time of 18:17 followed by Colin Bove ‘22 at a time of 18:53. Michael DiSanti ‘21 rounded out the team shortly after, finishing with a time of 18:58.

The seven Shamrocks, named Athletes of the Week, will look to extend their season by doing well on Saturday, October 31st, in the Sectional Meet at Lincoln Park South Conservation Park.
